In Memoriam: Robert (Bob) Parrish
It is with heavy hearts that the Thomasville Kiwanis Club announces the passing of our beloved and faithful member of over 30 years, Robert (Bob) Parrish.
Bob served as the club’s pianist, sharing his musical gifts through heartfelt renditions of collegiate anthems, military hymns, and traditional favorites that enriched our meetings and brought joy to all.
Throughout his decades of dedicated service, Bob was honored with numerous awards, including two President’s Awards, the Distinguished Secretary Award, Kiwanian of the Year, and the Distinguished Service Award—a testament to his unwavering commitment and outstanding contributions.
Bob’s passion for history brought valuable insights and lessons to our club. His deep roots in the community and wide network of friendships helped bring engaging programs and a richer understanding of our town’s heritage.
We are deeply grateful for Bob’s faithfulness, wisdom, and generosity. His legacy will remain a cherished part of the Thomasville Kiwanis Club for years to come.
